Greetings CVDA Members and Sponsors. I know it has been rough and tough times this past year and we appreciate all of your patience and understanding. The CVDA Board of Directors met given the recent changes in statewide restrictions related to COVID-19, the President’s ongoing communication with the Virginia Secretary of Commerce office, and the updates of the Governor’s Executive Order, barring any changes which would restrict our activities in the future, We are excited to announce, the CVDA is looking to move forward as follows:
- CVDA is planning to start-up league play starting with the Fall 2021 season. Rosters will be due in July with the season kicking off mid-August.
- Sanctioned Blind will commence in June (the official date will be announced once some behind the scene things are completed.)
- Sanctioned Weekend Tournament startup will follow once some administrative details are worked out and will be formally announced.
- The League Director, Vice-President, and President have recertified nine of our sponsor bar in the past two weeks. Bars recertified are: Rock Falls Tavern, Murphy’s Law, Sonny’s Chester Junction, Patrick’s, 301 Pike Pub and Grub, Jeff’s Place, Benny’s Tavern, Partner’s II, and Omega
- We are coordinating a meeting with our sponsor so that as we move forward we are all on the same accord.
